Informational panel for Botanical Garden Cluj
I’m ready to finish my latest work for Botanical Garden Cluj. SOR Romania and Botanical Garden agreed to exhibit an informational panel about birds in the Cluj-Napoca Botanical Garden, officially Alexandru Borza Cluj-Napoca University Botanic Garden.
The info-board is presenting the four season in the birds life and how people can help them. In urban environment the cut down trees, the pollution is all in the disadvantage of birds, derogating their habitats. As friends of birds we can help birds to settle in our garden.
The info-board size is 120×90mm, will be printed on outdoor inkjet media.
Ural Owl digesting
I paint a lot of owls. I love the owls for their brownish colors, and the subtle patterns of their plumage. Here is a new Ural Owl – (Strix uralensis) sitting on a branch and impassively digesting. After sketching the owl I started to paint the eyes and head. Continued with the feathers. The last thing was branches of the tree and the leaf.
Painting dimension: 23×30,5 cm / 9″x12″
Paper: Fabriano Watercolour, Grana Fina – Cold Pressed
Paint: Acuarela Colibri – Combinatul Fondului Plastic
Here is little animation showing the painting phases.

Lookout Woodlark
My latest painting is this Woodlark (Lullula arborea). I love his brown colors. Watercolor painting. Format A4
